Christine’s philosophy is simple: work with great people, who strive to achieve extraordinary things. It’s a philosophy that works and is evident when you consider Christine’s long and very successful career in the Meetings and Events Industry.
Her journey has taken her through all aspects of the industry, from event execution to site selection and along the way she has established deep connections and valuable partner relationships. If you have not worked directly with Christine, you have most likely attended an event that she has had her hand in along the way at some point.
Christine launched House of MC Sourcing, a hotel & venue sourcing brand she launched in January of this year. As CEO of House of MC Sourcing, Christine is carving a brave new path forward for site selection, disrupting an industry that has long had a reputation for being bullish, fair weather, and tactical in nature. Always striving for excellence, Christine also incorporates a thoughtful approach, ensuring that her clients, suppliers, and industry partners are represented in the meetings & event industry in a way that is new and exciting, but still familiar and comfortable.

A little fact about me. I’m happiest with my head down; nose to the grindstone. I have been so fortunate to collaborate with incredible teams on truly remarkable projects and I hope that never stops! My 'geek' shines bright when I find a solution that everyone benefits from, and when I've been able to build a framework that makes projects efficient and intentional.
My time has been spent in all aspects of this industry, and what I’ve learned at each stop is that I’m happiest when I’m solving problems for my clients. Whether in events, hotels, or sourcing, I thrive when I’m behind the scenes, using my experience to anticipate problems and have them solved long before they have a chance to grow.

Welcome! I am so incredibly grateful that you’re taking a bit of time to spend with me here in my neighbourhood. Seriously!
People often see me as the quiet, calm, and reserved person at events. A social butterfly I am not. However, one on one conversations and connecting with people on a personal level, beyond the scope of industry commonalities, is what I value.
You see, somewhere along my professional journey my view and attitude shifted. For most of my career, I was led to believe that my value was in securing the most revenue for the “company”. More hours, more signed contracts, more revenue, more, more, more. To the point where I would sacrifice quality and meaning for company profits, and personal gain. Let’s be honest, we create that perception in our industry. We incentivize with commission, bonus targets and create structure to sacrifice all else in the name of the almighty dollar.
One day it changed for me. I realized that with young kids at home, I wanted to set a different example for them. That, simply because I was skilled in my job, it didn’t mean I had to sacrifice my values.
In short, I realized that I would much rather be an advocate for our clients. Develop a meaningful relationship with those that I work with and work for, understanding their needs, beyond just the scope of the “event”. It’s a subtle shift, but one that has served me well, and I’m confident that when we work together, you’ll see and feel the difference as well.

In a world of templates and cookie cutter solutions, I take great pride in providing unique and custom solutions every chance I get. Too often we fall into the trap of fitting the customer into our ready-made solution, rather than working to find the perfect solution for them.
As a music lover and avid concert goer. I love that every concert is different. Same artist, same set list, but a different experience every night. The emotion we feel changes because the details do.
The details change because the people attending do.
That’s what makes it special for each of us, and I know there is someone special making that happen behind the scenes. I love being part of that team that creates that special moment.
